Special Edition now available for presale
The Death of a Beautiful Subject is a new book by Sophy Rickett featuring an appropriated 'accidental archive' of photographs of butterflies made by her father. These photographs are reproduced alongside a narrative text by the artist which moves back and forth in time. This project develops Rickett's interest in the encounters between people and the natural world and is her most autobiographical project to date, exploring themes of dislocation, separation and reconciliation.
