LIBERI TUTTI! ART AND SOCIETY IN ITALY 1989 - 2001
Fondazione Ettore Fico, Turin
9 July - 18 October 2015
The first exhibition to explore the generation of Italian artists active between the 1989 - 2001 includes Mazoom I by Massimo Vitali. This period is bracketed by the fall of the Berlin Wall, the attack on the Twin Towers in New York, times when both culture and society experienced unforeseeable changes whilst awaiting he advent of a new millennium. The artists in the exhibition experimented with great freedom in style, form and content, from paintings to video, installations to sculpture and photography to design.
